To rent a vehicle from Carrera Collection you must read and agree to the rental Terms & Conditions described below. To signify your agreement select the "I have read & agree" button at the bottom of the page. You will then be directed to the Reservations page to complete your request.
- VEHICLE: The rented Vehicle includes tires, tools, equipment, accessories, and documents ("Vehicle"). The Vehicle is in good condition and may only be operated by "Authorized Drivers".
- AUTHORIZED DRIVERS: Only the renter and "Additional Drivers" named on the Rental Agreement who have a valid driver's license, have Renter's permission to operate the Vehicle and are at least 26 years old (unless otherwise agreed by Carrera Collection) are "Authorized Drivers".
- USE RESTRICTIONS: The Vehicle will not be used or operated by anyone:
- who is not an Authorized Driver;
- who allows more passengers to occupy the Vehicle than there are seatbelts or who does not require all occupants to comply with seatbelt and child restraint laws;
- off regularly maintained and paved roadways; or outside the continental United States;
- who leaves the Vehicle and fails to remove the keys, close and lock all doors and close all windows and the trunk, or who otherwise aids in vandalism or theft of the Vehicle;
- who does not know how to operate a manual transmission (if vehicle has manual transmission);
- when continued operation of the Vehicle is likely to cause damage to the Vehicle; to engage in any speed contest;
- to tow or push anything, or to carry people or property for hire (unless otherwise agreed by Carrera Collection);
- who improperly fuels the Vehicle (gasoline in a diesel powered Vehicle or diesel fuel in a gasoline powered Vehicle); who improperly loads the Vehicle or transports weight exceeding the Vehicle's maximum capacity; who uses the Vehicle to carry hazardous or explosive substances;
- if the Vehicle is obtained on the basis of false or misleading information;
- who damages the Vehicle or causes personal injury or damage to others as a result of reckless or negligent misconduct;
- who is not capable of safely driving the Vehicle due to alcohol, drugs, or drowsiness;
- for any illegal purpose, this constitutes breach of contract; May not be used in the commission of a felony; to instruct an unlicensed driver in its operation; or to carry passengers in other than the passenger compartment.
- in or through structure of any underpass or other object where there is insufficient clearance, whether of height or width;

VEHICLE LOSS AND DAMAGE: Renter is responsible for all loss of and damage to the Vehicle plus Carrera Collection's loss of use and related expenses, regardless of fault. Carrera Collection is entitled to loss of use for every day Vehicle is not available for rent and full compensation for damages: has not been paid to Carrera Collection.

RENTER'S INDEMNIFICATION OF CARRERA COLLECTION: RENTER WILL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD CARRERA COLLECTION HARMLESS FROM ALL LIABILITY, COSTS AND ATTORNEY'S FEES FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE VEHICLE. Renter, additional renter, and any other drivers or passengers must submit to an Examination under Oath (EUO) to help with the investigation of any claim or accident at the request of our insurance company.

INVESTIGATIONS: Authorized drivers will complete incident reports and deliver to Carrera Collection a copy of all related documents within 24 hours of incident.

FUEL: Renter will pay for or replace all fuel provided by either buying the fuel in the tank at the beginning of the rental or returning the Vehicle with as much fuel as received (no refunds apply for unused fuel or fuel in excess of that initially provided). If Renter does not buy the fuel in the tank at the beginning of the rental and returns the Vehicle with less fuel than when received, a refueling charge applies. The refueling charge is determined by multiplying the number of gallons needed to refuel the tank (to the same level as when received) times the dollar-per-gallon rate specified on the rental agreement. Carrera Collection determines the number of gallons needed by refueling the tank or by using mileage or fuel gauge readings of the Vehicle.

TRAFFIC LAW VIOLATIONS: Renter will pay all fines or penalties for traffic law violations that occur during the rental (including parking violations), as well as Carrera Collection's expense in responding to authorities concerning such violations. Carrera Collection may give information about the Renter to those authorities.

REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS: Renter will not permit any repair to the Vehicle, or replacement of any parts on the Vehicle, without the prior consent of Carrera Collection. Renter will not tamper with the Vehicle's odometer, speedometer or otherwise alter the Vehicle. Renter will pay for all unauthorized repairs and replacement parts, as well as the cost of restoring any unauthorized alterations.

VEHICLE RETURN: Renter is responsible for returning the Vehicle in the same condition as when received, to the location and on the date specified, or sooner if requested by Carrera Collection. Failure to return the Vehicle to the specified location on the due date may result in a drop charge and/or rate change. Renter will be in unlawful possession of the Vehicle and authorizes the issuance of a warrant for the arrest of anyone possessing the Vehicle (including Renter). Written demand is considered delivered 48 hours after Carrera Collection mails a certified letter to Renter at the home or business address Renter provides.

REPOSSESSION OF VEHICLE: The Vehicle may be repossessed, without notice and at Renter's expense, if it is not returned when due, is illegally parked, is used in violation of law or of this Agreement, appears abandoned, or if Renter provides false or misleading information at the time of rental.

PROPERTY LEFT AT CARRERA COLLECTION: Renter is solely responsible for property left in any vehicle, shuttle van or Carrera Collection facility. Renter will pay all costs associated with disposal of property left in Vehicle. Carrera Collection may act as Renter's agent at such disposal at public or private sale, with or without notice to Renter.

PAYMENT: Renter is responsible for all charges, even if Renter indicates that someone else will pay. Payment is due upon Carrera Collection's request. Renter consents to the reservation of credit for all estimated charges due and authorizes Carrera Collection to process all charges due to Renter's credit card. All charges are subject to final audit, and either party will promptly pay or credit the other to correct any error. Renter will also pay all costs of collection including attorney's fees, and interest at the highest rate permitted by law on any past due amounts. If a dispute arises between the parties and either party files suit and seeks the advice of a lawyer, then the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees and court costs.

REIMBURSEMENT: Renter will reimburse Carrera Collection for any liability, costs and attorney fees incurred by Carrera Collection: for the issuance of a warrant (as provided for in this Agreement) for the arrest of anyone possessing the Vehicle; for any action by Carrera Collection to enforce this Agreement; and for any action against Carrera Collection resulting from Renter's breach of this agreement.

INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: Carrera Collection is not responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damage in connection with the furnishing, performance or use of the Vehicle.

RENTER'S INDEPENDENT STATUS: Renter is not the agent or authorized representative of Carrera Collection for any purpose.

MISCELLANEOUS: Renter will pay all costs including reasonable attorney's fees and court costs incurred by Carrera Collection and will defend and indemnify these parties from all claims, demands and lawsuits resulting from:
- the venue of any action arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be laid in the city or county this rental transaction takes place in. The parties agree that the city or county has both subject matter and personal jurisdiction of the parties.
- Renter agrees to everything within the terms and conditions stated above and to those things both stated and entered on the Reservations page of this web site which constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties. Renter agrees that this Agreement can only be changed in writing and if signed or initialed by both Carrera Collection and the Renter.

INSURANCE. CUSTOMER AGREES TO MAINTAIN AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE during the term of this rental agreement, providing the owner, the renter, and any other person using or operating the rental vehicle with the following primary coverage:
- Bodily injury and property damage liability coverage;
- Personal injury protection, no-fault, or similar coverage where required;
- Uninsured / under insured coverage where required;
- Comprehensive and collision damage coverage extending to the rental vehicle.
